Tender ground beef is cooked with garlic and ginger, coated in a sweet and savory sauce, and tossed with noodles and crisp vegetables. Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Beef:

1 lb ground beef

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce:

1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

1/4 cup water or beef broth

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional, for depth)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
For the Noodles & Veggies:

8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or rice noodles)

1 cup shredded carrots

1 cup sliced bell peppers

2 green onions, sliced

1/2 cup snow peas or broccoli florets (optional)

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Noodles

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente.

Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Beef

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Season with black pepper and cook until fully browned.

Drain excess grease if needed.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
