Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
For the Pasta:

12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)

Salt, for boiling water
For the Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Broccoli:

2 cups broccoli florets
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Creamy Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

1/2 cup chicken broth
-
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Optional Garnish:

Extra Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta & Broccoli

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.

During the last 2 minutes, add broccoli florets to the boiling pasta water.

Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken

Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked.

Remove from skillet, let rest, then slice into strips or cubes.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 1 minute.

Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
