Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 8 strips of thick-cut bacon

Optional for Serving:

  • Dipping sauces: honey mustard, ranch, BBQ sauce

  • Fresh herbs (parsley or chives) for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Cut each chicken breast into 4 long, thin strips, about 1–1.5 inches wide.

  2. Pat the strips dry with a paper towel to help the brown sugar stick better.

Step 3: Coat the Chicken

  1. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, kosher salt, and ground black pepper.

  2. Toss the chicken strips in the brown sugar mixture until each piece is well coated.

Step 4: Wrap with Bacon

  1. Take one strip of bacon and wrap it around each chicken tender, securing the ends underneath.

  2. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between each piece.

Step 5: Add Extra Brown Sugar

  1. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar evenly over the top of the chicken and bacon.

  2. Optional: drizzle a small amount of olive oil or melted butter over the top for extra caramelization.
