📝 Ingredients
For the Tortilla Shells
-
Large flour tortillas
-
2–3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the Cheesecake Filling
-
8 oz cream cheese, softened
-
½ cup powdered sugar
-
½ tsp vanilla extract
-
½ cup whipped topping or heavy cream, whipped
For the Toppings
-
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
-
½ cup crushed graham crackers, cookies, or cereal (like Rice Krispies)
-
Optional: chocolate or caramel drizzle
👩🍳 Directions
1. Prepare the Tortilla Shells
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush both sides of each flour tortilla lightly with melted butter.
Drape tortillas over the bars of an inverted muffin tin or a taco rack to form a taco shape. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until lightly golden and crisp. Remove and let cool completely.
2. Make the Cheesecake Filling
In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
Gently fold in whipped topping for a light, fluffy texture.
3. Assemble the Tacos
Carefully spoon the cheesecake filling into each cooled tortilla shell.
Top with sliced strawberries and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers, cookies, or cereal for that perfect crunch.
Drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce if desired.
4. Chill & Serve
Refrigerate tacos for 10–15 minutes to allow filling to set slightly. Serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.
