⭐ Ingredients
-
1 (3.4-oz) box instant banana pudding mix
-
1 (40-oz) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
-
1 (8-oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
-
2–3 medium bananas, sliced
-
1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped
-
1 cup mini marshmallows
-
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
-
½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
-
Maraschino cherries, halved or whole, for mixing in and garnish
🥣 Instructions
1. Mix the Base
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple and the banana pudding mix.
-
Stir well until the pudding dissolves and the mixture begins to thicken.
2. Fold in the Whipped Topping
-
Add the Cool Whip to the bowl and fold gently until fully combined and fluffy.
3. Add the Mix-Ins
Fold in:
-
chopped strawberries
-
sliced bananas
-
mini marshmallows
-
nuts (if using)
-
mini chocolate chips (if using)
-
a handful of halved maraschino cherries
Stir gently to avoid breaking the fruit too much.
4. Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This helps the fluff thicken and the flavors blend.
5. Serve
Top with:
-
extra cherries
-
a sprinkle of chocolate chips
-
chopped nuts
-
sliced bananas (add just before serving to prevent browning)
Serve in bowls, parfait cups, or as part of a dessert spread.
