Ingredients (20–22 cm cake mold)
For the Cake:
-
3 eggs (room temperature)
-
1.5 cups granulated sugar
-
1 cup milk
-
1/2 cup vegetable oil
-
2 tablespoons yogurt
-
2 tablespoons cocoa

2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 packet baking powder
-
1 packet vanilla
-
80 g melted dark chocolate (optional, but highly recommended)
Chocolate Cream (for layers):
-
1 packet powdered whipped cream
-
1 cup cold milk
-
100 g cream cheese
-
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
-
80 g melted dark chocolate (cooled)
Ganache (for the top):
-
200 ml heavy cream
-
200 g dark chocolate
Instructions
1️⃣ Cake:
-
Beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
-
Add milk, vegetable oil, and yogurt. Mix until smooth.
-
Add melted chocolate and combine.
-
Sift in flour, cocoa, baking powder, and vanilla. Fold gently with a spatula.
-
Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
-
Bake in a preheated 340°F (170°C) oven for 40–45 minutes. Test with a toothpick—it should come out clean.
-
Let the cake cool completely, then carefully slice into 3 layers.
2️⃣ Chocolate Cream:
-
Whip powdered cream with cold milk until fluffy.
-
Add cream cheese, cocoa powder, and melted chocolate. Whip until smooth and spreadable.
3️⃣ Ganache:
-
Heat heavy cream until it almost boils.
-
Pour over chopped chocolate and stir until smooth. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
4️⃣ Assembling the Cake:
-
Place the first cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of chocolate cream.
-
Add the second cake layer and repeat. Finish with the third layer.
-
Pour warm ganache over the top, letting it drip naturally over the sides.
-
Decorate with chocolate shavings, chips, or truffles.
-
Chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours before slicing.
💡 Pro Tip: For extra moist layers, lightly soak each cake layer with a milk + cocoa mixture (3–4 tablespoons per layer).
