Turrón de Quaker

Ingredients:
2 cups quick oats (Quaker)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional: nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips for extra flavor

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water, honey, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
3. In a large bowl, place the quick oats. Pour the hot syrup mixture over the oats and stir well to combine.
4. Add in any optional ingredients like nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips, and mix until evenly distributed.
5. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press the oat mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.
6. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
7. Once set, cut into bars or squares and enjoy!
