Tiramisu Tartlets

🍰 Tiramisu Tartlets
Mini tartlets with a crisp shell and creamy tiramisu filling—elegant, delicious, and totally irresistible!

🧁 Ingredients:
For the Tartlet Shells:
1 ¼ cups (160g) all-purpose flour

¼ cup (30g) powdered sugar

½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed

1 egg yolk

1–2 tbsp cold water

🥣 For the Filling (suggested):
8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened

¼ cup granulated sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp instant espresso powder (or strong coffee)

½ cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks

Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Optional: mini chocolate shavings or ladyfinger crumbs for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the Tartlet Shells:
In a food processor, pulse together flour and powdered sugar.

Add cubed butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add egg yolk and 1 tbsp cold water. Pulse until dough just comes together (add more water if needed).

Form into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes.

Roll out dough and cut into circles to fit mini tart pans or a muffin tin.

Press dough into molds and prick the bottoms with a fork.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool completely.

2. Make the Filling:
In a bowl, beat mascarpone with sugar, vanilla, and espresso until smooth.

Gently fold in whipped cream until combined and fluffy.

3. Assemble:
Spoon or pipe filling into cooled tart shells.

Dust with cocoa powder and garnish as desired.

Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

☕ Tips:
Want extra coffee kick? Brush cooled tart shells lightly with espresso before adding filling.

Not a fan of mascarpone? Substitute with cream cheese + a little more whipped cream!
