Strawberry Fluff Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin mix
1 cup boiling water
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
1 cup diced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
Dissolve the Gelatin:
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin mix in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
Add Pineapple:
Stir in the undrained crushed pineapple. Mix well to combine.
Mix in Marshmallows:
Add the mini marshmallows to the mixture and stir until they are evenly distributed.
Fold in Cool Whip:
Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add Strawberries and Nuts:
Fold in the diced fresh strawberries and chopped pecans or walnuts (if using).
Chill:
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the salad is well chilled and set.
Serve:
Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir. Serve chilled and enjoy!
