Strawberry Cheesecake Lush Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
¼ cup sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup strawberries, sliced (fresh or frozen)
1 cup strawberry pie filling (optional)
Fresh strawberries, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Crust:
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish or a similar-sized dish to form an even crust.
Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
Assemble the Layers:
Spread half of the cheesecake mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
Layer half of the sliced strawberries over the cheesecake mixture.
If using, spread the strawberry pie filling over the strawberries.
Repeat with the remaining cheesecake mixture and top with the remaining strawberries.
Chill:
Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set.
Serve:
Before serving, you can garnish with additional fresh strawberries or a dollop of whipped cream if desired. Cut into squares and enjoy!
