Sticken Chicken Recipe

Sticken Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
1/3 cup honey (or brown sugar)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for a little heat)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sesame seeds and green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, ginger (if using), and chili flakes. This will be your sticky glaze for the chicken.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
Season the Chicken: Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sear the Chicken: Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown but not fully cooked through.
Step 3: Add the Sticky Sauce
Pour in the Glaze: Lower the heat to medium and pour the prepared glaze over the chicken.
Simmer: Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens to a sticky consistency. If the sauce reduces too quickly, add a splash of water.
Step 4: Serve
Garnish: Once the chicken is done, remove it from the heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Serve Hot: Serve the Sticken Chicken with steamed rice, veggies, or a side salad for a complete meal.
