☘️ St. Patrick’s Day Baileys Chocolate Mousse 🍫🥄
This decadent, boozy dessert is rich, creamy, and infused with that signature Baileys flavor—perfect for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration!
🛒 Ingredients:
200g dark chocolate, chopped
300ml thickened cream
100ml Baileys Irish Cream
2 egg whites
👩🍳 Instructions:
Melt the Chocolate 🍫
Place chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method). Stir until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
Whip the Cream 🥄
In a mixing bowl, whip the thickened cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the Baileys Irish Cream.
Beat the Egg Whites 🥚
In a clean bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Combine Everything 🌀
Gently fold the melted (but cooled) chocolate into the Baileys whipped cream. Then carefully fold in the egg whites in two additions to keep the mousse light and airy.
Chill ⏲️
Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or ramekins. Chill for at least 2 hours or until set.
Serve & Garnish 🎉
Top with a dollop of whipped cream, a dusting of cocoa powder, or chocolate shavings if desired.
