Spicy Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich

Spicy Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (grilled or rotisserie chicken works well)
1/2 cup Caesar dressing
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled, depending on your heat preference)
4 large croissants
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for grilling the croissants)

Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the Caesar dressing. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Croissants: If you like your croissants warm and a bit crispy, you can lightly toast them. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush the inside of the croissants with a little olive oil. Place them in the skillet, cut side down, and cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Alternatively, you can toast them in a toaster oven or regular oven.
Assemble the Sandwiches: Slice the toasted croissants in half horizontally. Spread a generous portion of the spicy chicken mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
Add the Toppings: Top the chicken mixture with chopped romaine lettuce and sliced jalapeños.
Close and Serve: Place the top half of the croissant on the sandwich and serve immediately.
These sandwiches combine the creamy, tangy Caesar dressing with the heat of jalapeños for a delicious and satisfying meal. Enjoy!
