Ingredients
Shortbread Crust

Pecan Filling

1 cup chopped pecans

¾ cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

½ cup light corn syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and flour until combined, then press evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake crust for 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden.

In another bowl, whisk eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

Stir chopped pecans into the filling mixture.

Pour filling over the warm crust and spread evenly.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until set. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
