S’mores Bars

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips
1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme (or 3 cups mini marshmallows)
1 cup mini marshmallows (for topping)

Directions:
Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create an even crust.
Melt the Chocolate: Evenly sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the graham cracker crust. Bake for 5 minutes, just until the chocolate starts to soften.
Spread the Marshmallow Creme: Remove the pan from the oven and carefully spread the marshmallow creme over the melted chocolate layer, using a spatula.
Add the Mini Marshmallows: Sprinkle the 1 cup of mini marshmallows on top of the marshmallow creme layer.
Broil: Turn on the oven’s broiler and place the pan under it for 1-2 minutes, just until the marshmallows on top are golden and toasted. Watch closely to avoid burning.
Cool and Serve: Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
