Slow Cooker Million Dollar Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup green onions, chopped (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Prep the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the seasoning into the chicken for maximum flavor.
Prepare the Creamy Mixture:
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth and well-mixed.
Layer in the Slow Cooker:
Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
Add the Toppings:
About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the creamy mixture in the slow cooker. Let it cook for the remaining time.
Garnish:
Once the cooking is complete, garnish with chopped green onions and parsley for a pop of color and added flavor (optional).
Serve:
Serve the Million Dollar Chicken over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta, and enjoy the rich, creamy, cheesy flavor in every bite.
