Slow Cooker Broccoli Beef
Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs flank steak, thinly sliced
3 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
Cooked white rice (for serving)
Sesame seeds and sliced green onions (for garnish)
Directions:
In a slow cooker, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and garlic.
Add the sliced flank steak to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the sauce. Cook on low for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir it into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
Serve the broccoli beef over cooked white rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
