Root Beer Float Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pre-made graham cracker crust (9 inches)
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup root beer (not diet)
1/2 cup root beer concentrate or extract
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)
Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the root beer, root beer concentrate or extract, and powdered sugar to the bowl. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Fold in Cool Whip:
Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Fill the Crust:
Pour the filling into the pre-made graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
Chill:
Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm. For best results, chill overnight.
Serve:
Just before serving, garnish with whipped cream and maraschino cherries if desired.
