Roasted Garlic White Chicken Pizza

Roasted Garlic White Chicken Pizza

Ingredients:
For the Roasted Garlic:
1 whole head of garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pizza:
1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh spinach, chopped (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)
Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Directions:
Roast the Garlic:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Wrap the garlic in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cloves are soft and golden brown. Let it cool slightly before squeezing the roasted garlic into a bowl and mashing it into a paste.
Prepare the Chicken:
In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, olive oil, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
Assemble the Pizza:
Increase the oven temperature to 475°F (245°C) or according to the pizza crust instructions.
Spread the roasted garlic paste evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
Dollop the ricotta cheese over the garlic spread, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
Scatter the seasoned chicken over the cheese layer. If using, add the chopped spinach.
Bake:
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake according to the crust instructions (usually 10-15 minutes) or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Allow the pizza to cool for a couple of minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
