Rich and Creamy Hot Fudge

Ingredients:
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup light corn syrup
– 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
2. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips, butter, and vanilla extract until the chocolate is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
4. Let the hot fudge cool slightly before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
5. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Reheat in a microwave or on the stove before serving.
