🥪 Reuben Crescent Bake
A flaky, cheesy twist on the classic Reuben sandwich — perfect for brunch, game day, or a cozy dinner!
🛒 Ingredients:
2 (8 oz) cans crescent roll dough 🥐
¾ lb sliced corned beef, chopped 🥩
8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced or shredded 🧀
1 cup sauerkraut, well drained 🥬
½ cup Thousand Island dressing 🥫
1 egg, beaten 🥚
1 tsp caraway seeds (optional) 🌿
1 tbsp melted butter 🧈
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the Crescent Dough
Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing the seams. Bake for 5–7 minutes, just until lightly golden.
Layer the Filling
Spread Thousand Island dressing over the pre-baked dough.
Layer on the corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese evenly.
Top It Off
Unroll the second can of dough and place over the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
Brush the top with beaten egg and melted butter. Sprinkle with caraway seeds if using.
Bake
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through.
Cool & Serve
Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm with extra Thousand Island on the side!
