Reese’s Peanut Butter Banana Bread
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup (120 g) creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup (60 g) melted butter
1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
1/4 cup (50 g) brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (90 g) Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips
1/2 cup (90 g) mini Reese’s Pieces (optional)
1/2 cup (90 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the melted butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the Reese’s & Chocolate:
Gently fold in the Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips, Reese’s Pieces, and semi-sweet chocolate chips, if using.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.
Cool:
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Serve:
Slice and enjoy the rich, peanut-buttery, chocolatey goodness!
