Pina Colada Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 ripe banana
1 cup coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened, for garnish)
Pineapple slices and maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)
Directions:
Blend Ingredients:
In a blender, combine the frozen pineapple chunks, banana, coconut milk, Greek yogurt (if using), and honey or maple syrup.
Adjust Consistency:
Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more coconut milk. If it’s too thin, add ice cubes or more frozen pineapple.
Taste and Adjust:
Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with more honey or maple syrup if desired.
Serve:
Pour the smoothie into glasses.
Garnish:
Top with shredded coconut and garnish with pineapple slices and maraschino cherries if desired.
