Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks

🧀 Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks
Think Philly cheesesteak meets garlic bread — melty cheese, tender beef, and golden, fluffy dough. Perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or even a main!

🛒 Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

½ lb (225g) thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)

½ cup (80g) sliced onions

½ cup (80g) sliced green bell peppers (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup shredded provolone or cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional: Marinara or cheese sauce for dipping

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Steak & Veggies
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions (and peppers, if using), sauté for 3–4 minutes. Add steak, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until just browned. Set aside to cool slightly.

Roll Out Dough
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 9×13 inches).

Assemble the Filling
Spread the cooked steak and veggie mixture evenly over half of the dough (lengthwise), leaving a small border at the edges. Top with mozzarella and provolone.

Fold & Seal
Fold the dough over the filling, like a calzone, and pinch the edges to seal. Cut into strips (before or after baking) and place on the prepared sheet.

Brush & Bake
Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with a little extra garlic powder or parmesan. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Cool & Serve
Let cool for a few minutes, slice into breadsticks if you haven’t already, and serve with marinara or cheese sauce.

📌 Tips:
For easier slicing and stuffing, chill the dough for 15 minutes before assembling.

Add mushrooms, jalapeños, or hot sauce to mix things up.

Perfect game day snack or quick weeknight dinner!
