🛒 Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (for fresh fries)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 4 cups frozen French fries or homemade fries

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni

  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce

  • Optional toppings: sliced black olives, diced green peppers, or grated Parmesan

👩‍🍳 Methods / Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare

  • Preheat oven according to fry instructions (usually 425°F / 220°C for frozen fries).

  • If making homemade fries: toss potato fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.

2. Cook the Fries

  • Bake fries in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

3. Assemble the Pizza Fries

  1. Remove fries from the oven and transfer to an oven-safe dish if not already in one.

  2. Evenly drizzle or spoon marinara/pizza sauce over the fries.

  3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.

  4. Scatter sliced pepperoni evenly over the cheese.

4. Melt the Cheese

  • Return fries to the oven and bake for an additional 5–8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes for golden, slightly crispy cheese.

5. Serve

  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for a minute or two.

  • Garnish with extra Italian seasoning, chopped fresh basil, or Parmesan if desired.

  • Serve immediately with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
