Pecan Pie Dump Cake

– Ingredients:
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup melted butter
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
1½ cups chopped pecans
Cooking spray or butter (for greasing)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.
3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
4. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the wet base. Do not stir.
5. Gently pour the corn syrup mixture over the cake mix layer. Spread evenly with the back of a spoon if needed.
6. Sprinkle chopped pecans across the top of the dish.
