Party Roast Beef Sandwiches

Party Roast Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients:
1 (1.5 lb) beef roast (such as rump roast or chuck roast)
1 packet ranch dressing mix (optional, for seasoning)
1 packet au jus gravy mix
1 cup beef broth
12 slider buns (or small sandwich rolls)
1 cup sliced provolone cheese (or your preferred cheese)
1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional for spreading on buns)
2 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing on buns)
1 tbsp garlic powder (optional for extra flavor)

Directions:
Prepare the Roast: Place the beef roast in a slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix (optional) and the au jus gravy mix over the roast. Pour in the beef broth, ensuring the roast is covered. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.
Shred the Beef: Once the roast is fully cooked, remove it from the slow cooker. Shred the beef using two forks, discarding any large pieces of fat. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker to soak in the juices.
Prepare the Buns: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet. If desired, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the inside of each bun.
Assemble the Sandwiches: Evenly distribute the shredded beef onto the bottom half of each bun. Top with a slice of provolone cheese.
Toast the Buns: Place the top halves of the buns on the sandwiches. Brush the top of each sandwich with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder if desired.
Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the buns are golden and the cheese is melted.
Serve: Remove the sandwiches from the oven and slice into individual servings. Serve warm with extra au jus for dipping if desired.
