Panda Express Chow Mein Copycat Recipe

Panda Express Chow Mein Copycat Recipe

Ingredients:
2 packages of Yakisoba noodles (about 14 oz each), discard the seasoning packets
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 small onion, thinly sliced
3 stalks celery, chopped
4 cups cabbage, shredded
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:
Prepare the Noodles:
If using Yakisoba noodles, rinse them in warm water to loosen and separate. If using dry noodles, cook according to package instructions, then drain.
Cook the Vegetables:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the onion, celery, and cabbage, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
Add the garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil.
Add the Noodles and Sauce:
Add the noodles to the skillet, followed by the sauce mixture. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Season and Serve:
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Serve the chow mein hot, as a side or main dish.
