Ingredients:
– 2 cups of all-purpose flour
– 1 1/2 cups of sugar
– 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
– 3 eggs
– 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
– Zest of 1 orange
– 1 tablespoon of baking powder
– A pinch of salt
– Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions:
1. **Preheat the Oven:** Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or a loaf pan.
2. **Mix Wet Ingredients:** In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the vegetable oil, orange juice, and orange zest, and continue mixing until well combined.
3. **Combine Dry Ingredients:** In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
4. **Bake:** Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
5. **Cool and Serve:** Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
