One-Pot Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Season and Cook Chicken:
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Sauté Garlic:
In the same pot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Liquids and Pasta:
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
Add the fettuccine pasta, making sure it’s submerged in the liquid. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the liquid has reduced, about 10-12 minutes.
Combine Chicken and Cheese:
Return the cooked chicken to the pot. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and the chicken is heated through.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Serve the One-Pot Chicken Alfredo Pasta hot.
