Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Crisco (or your preferred shortening) 🧈
2 cups brown sugar 🍬
1 cup sugar 🍚
2 large eggs 🥚
1/2 cup water 💧
2 tsp vanilla extract 🍨
6 cups quick uncooked oats 🌾
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
2 tsp salt 🧂
1 tsp baking soda 🥄
1 1/2 cups raisins 🍇
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them.
Cream Together Crisco & Sugars:
In a large bowl, cream together the Crisco, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Add Wet Ingredients:
Beat in the eggs, water, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
