Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1 box of chocolate cake mix (preferably dark chocolate)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 cup water
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (12 oz) bag Nestlé Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup Nestlé Toll House mini chocolate chips
For the Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup heavy cream
1 (12 oz) bag Nestlé Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
For the Toppings:
1/4 cup chocolate shavings
1/4 cup Nestlé Toll House mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Prepare the Cake Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, water, and sour cream. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Fold in the Nestlé Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips into the batter.
Bake the Cakes:
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.

Assemble the Cake:
Place one of the cooled cakes on a serving plate. Spread a thick layer of ganache over the top.
Place the second cake on top and spread the remaining ganache over the top and sides of the cake.
Add the Toppings:
Sprinkle the chocolate shavings and mini chocolate chips on top of the ganache.
For an extra touch, you can also add a drizzle of melted chocolate over the top.
Serve:
Slice and serve the cake at room temperature. This decadent cake pairs well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
