Nacho Cheese Beef Wrap Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Beef Filling:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
For the Wraps:
6 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup pickled jalapeƱo slices (optional)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Beef Filling:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the onion is softened.
Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
Add the nacho cheese sauce to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed and heated through. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Wraps:
Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
Lay each tortilla flat and add a generous scoop of the beef filling in the center.
Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, pickled jalapeƱos (if using), a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll up from the bottom to form a wrap.
Serve:
Cut the wraps in half if desired and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately with extra nacho cheese sauce or salsa on the side for dipping
