Meaty Texas Trash Dip
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or sausage
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
1 cup salsa
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
½ tsp garlic powder
Chopped green onions or jalapeños for topping
Tortilla chips, for serving
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned; drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, salsa, and garlic powder.
Stir in the cooked meat, then spread mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Top with green onions or jalapeños and serve with tortilla chips!
