Lobster, Crab, and Shrimp Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
Ingredients:
8 oz elbow macaroni (or your preferred pasta)
1 cup lobster meat (cooked and chopped)
1 cup crab meat (cooked and shredded)
1 cup shrimp (peeled and deveined)
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk (or half-and-half for a richer sauce)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese (or mozzarella for a milder flavor)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper (to taste)
½ cup breadcrumbs (for topping)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the seafood:
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
Make the cheese sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the flour and whisk for about 1-2 minutes to create a roux. Gradually add the milk, whisking continuously to prevent lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Stir in the cheddar cheese and Gruyère cheese until melted and smooth. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Combine the ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cheese sauce, lobster meat, crab meat, and cooked shrimp. Mix until everything is well coated.
Assemble the dish:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Add the topping:
In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle them evenly over the top of the mac and cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve:
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
