Lemon Pepper Cod Recipe

Ingredients:
4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare Cod: Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Season Fillets: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of each cod fillet.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
