Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Optional: Additional lemon zest for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare Filling:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Prepare Crescent Rolls:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wider end of each triangle.
Roll and Shape:
Starting from the wider end, roll up each triangle, tucking in the sides as you go to keep the filling inside. Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Cool and Dust:
Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with additional lemon zest if desired.
Serve:
Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
