1Β½ cups all-purpose flour
Β½ tsp baking powder
ΒΌ tsp salt
Β½ cup unsalted butter, softened
Β½ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg π₯
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2β3 minutes).
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
Scoop and roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
Use your thumb or the back of a spoon to gently press a well into the center of each ball.
Fill each indent with about Β½ tsp of your favorite jam.
Bake for 12β14 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
