Italian Stromboli
Ingredients:
Pizza dough
Sliced pepperoni
Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
Provolone cheese, sliced
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Roasted red peppers, sliced
Black olives, sliced (optional)
Garlic powder
Italian seasoning
Olive oil
Marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
3. Layer pepperoni, cooked Italian sausage, provolone, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and olives evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
4. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the fillings.
5. Carefully roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other, sealing the edges by pinching the dough.
6. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush the top with olive oil.
8. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
9. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
10. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
