Honey Butter Skillet Corn
Ingredients:
4 cups frozen corn kernels (or 6 cups fresh corn, cut from the cob)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Prepare Skillet:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook Corn:
Add the corn kernels to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the corn is heated through and starting to lightly brown, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Butter and Honey:
Reduce the heat to low. Add the butter, honey, and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined.
Season:
Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Stir well to ensure all the corn is coated with the honey butter mixture.
Simmer:
Let the corn simmer in the honey butter mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
