Homemade Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks
Ingredients:
1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
Marinara sauce, for dipping
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on the prepared baking sheet into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
Make the Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter evenly over the surface of the pizza dough.
Add the Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough. Then, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Season with Italian seasoning and a pinch of salt.
Bake the Breadsticks:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Cut and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to slice the cheesy garlic bread into breadsticks.
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
