Hearty Beef Noodle Bake

Ingredients:
• 1.5 pounds ground beef
• 2 cans tomato sauce (15 ounces each)
• 2 teaspoons minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 8 ounces sour cream
• 8 ounces egg noodles
• 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:
• Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
• Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
• Incorporate tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper into the beef mixture. Simmer for 3-5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
• In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente.
• Layer half the cooked noodles in a baking dish, followed by half the cream mixture and half the meat sauce. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with a topping of shredded cheddar cheese.
• Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden
