  • 1½ lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

🍍 Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

🌿 Garnish (Optional)

  • Green onions, sliced

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and honey (or brown sugar) until well combined.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until lightly browned on all sides.

  4. Stir in garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and pineapple if using, and cook for 2–3 minutes.

  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and stir to coat evenly.

  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8–10 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.

  7. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired, and serve warm.
