Ham Puffs
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked ham, finely chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed if frozen)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine chopped ham, cheddar cheese, green onions, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard. Mix until well combined.
Cut Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 3-inch squares or circles, as desired.
Assemble Puffs: Place a small spoonful of the ham filling in the center of each square or circle. Fold over to enclose the filling, pressing the edges with a fork to seal.
Add Egg Wash: Brush each puff with beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.
Bake: Place the puffs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Serve: Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.
