Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 slices deli ham
8 slices cheddar cheese (or Swiss cheese)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tbsp butter, melted (optional, for brushing)
1 tsp sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, for garnish)

Directions:
Preheat Oven & Prepare Baking Sheet:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with nonstick spray.
Prepare Crescent Roll Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles along the perforated lines.
Add Ham & Cheese:
Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on the wide end of each dough triangle. If desired, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the dough before adding the ham and cheese for an extra flavor kick.
Roll Up the Crescents:
Starting from the wide end of the dough, roll each crescent triangle up toward the point. Place the rolled crescents seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Optional: Brush with Butter & Add Garnish:
If desired, brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds for a little extra flavor and crunch.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let the crescent rolls cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
