Guinness Beef Sliders
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup Guinness stout beer
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
8 slider buns
Sliced cheddar cheese
Pickles (optional)
Butter for toasting buns
Directions:
Prepare the Beef Mixture:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with finely diced onion, garlic, Guinness beer, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Gently combine the ingredients, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the Sliders:
Form the beef mixture into 8 small patties, about the size of the slider buns.
Cook the Sliders:
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the sliders for 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow the cheese to melt.
Toast the Buns:
Butter the insides of the slider buns and toast them in a skillet or on the grill until golden and crispy.
Assemble the Sliders:
Place the cooked beef patties with melted cheese onto the bottom half of the toasted buns. Add pickles if desired, then top with the other half of the bun.
Serve:
Serve the sliders immediately with your favorite sides like fries or a salad.
