Goulash
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:
Cook the Beef: In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté Vegetables: Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
Add Ingredients: Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
Cook Pasta: Add the elbow macaroni, reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally.
Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese before serving.
