Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs
Ingredients:
1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
8 small mozzarella cheese balls (or cut mozzarella into 1-inch cubes)
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Dough:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 3-4 inch circle using your fingers or a rolling pin.
Stuff the Biscuits:
Place a mozzarella ball (or cube) in the center of each flattened biscuit.
Carefully fold the dough over the cheese, pinching the edges tightly to seal and form a ball. Make sure the cheese is completely enclosed to avoid leaks.
Season and Bake:
Place the sealed biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the tops of the biscuit bombs with the butter mixture.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the biscuit bombs.
Bake the Bombs:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffy.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
