Giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie

Giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Prepare the Crust:
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and resemble wet sand.
Press the mixture into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan, ensuring it’s firmly packed.
Place the crust in the freezer to set while preparing the filling.
Make the Peanut Butter Filling:
In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer (do not let it boil).
Remove from heat and pour the hot cream over the milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips in a heat-safe bowl.
Let the mixture sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.
Assemble the Pie:
Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface.
Chill:
Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set completely.
Serve:
Once set, slice the pie and enjoy this giant, indulgent version of a Reese’s peanut butter cup!
