German Chocolate Poke Cake

German Chocolate Poke Cake 😋
Ingredients :

Cake:
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs

Filling:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup caramel sauce

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until well combined.
3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Let the cake cool for 5 minutes.
5. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of the caramel sauce.
6. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes over the entire surface of the cake. Pour the caramel mixture over the cake, spreading it evenly to fill the holes.
7. In a separate bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, milk, and remaining 1/2 cup caramel sauce until the frosting is fluffy and smooth.
8. Fold in chopped pecans and shredded coconut.
9. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled, soaked cake.
10. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours before slicing and serving.
